Girl Bosses

What a crazy ass ride 2020 has been, right? Hang in there, peeps! Staying positive, hopeful and inspired is the only way to ride this out. And who have we been running to for that? Girls, girls, girls!

Can we just be with the social media cliches, the “wouldn’t you love to have my life” bullsh*it. We’re here for insightful, strong women with a REAL message, who are able to lift us up in these times where everything seems so uncertain. These girls ARE the change and bosses in their own right, and we are here for it!

Tabitha Brown

Actress? Chef? Tik-tocker? Sure, all those, but how about an insanely charismatic woman who took to sharing nothing but love through her videos: inspiring uplifting messages and cooking yummy vegan comfort food. She makes us hungry & happy at the same time. No boy does that!

Rianne Meijer

Down with the social media perfect life cliches, Rianne is here to contrast the touched-up world of influencers and give it to us straight with realistic photos and angles. The point is simple: We all have flaws, yes even that model. And we’re all beautiful anyway!

Nina Pierson

Nina is the co-owner of SLA (An organic salad bar chain in NL), co-creator of personal growth platform Bedrock, for which she also co-wrote a book. Speaking of books, the soon-to-be mama of 3 has also written a book for mothers to be, called Mama’en. If you’re looking for some motherhood + sustainable living inspiration, Nina is your girl!

Mandy Woelkens

Mandy hosts her own podcast together with her joyfriend called Couplegoals, where different couples talk about love and relationships. She’s also a managing editor at Cosmopolitan and actively advocates for the BLM movement. Oh, and she eats vegan too. Talk about Black Girl Magic!

Aja Barber

Aja is an extremely necessary sustainable fashion activist in these current times. She is a voice for marginalized minorities in the fashion world, keeps it real 100% of the time (we love her insta lives) and raises very important questions within ourselves about sustainability, veganism, race and feminism. Go Aja, go!

Lisa Goes Vegan

Lisa is one of the most successful vegan influencers in The Netherlands. She’s the biggest animal lover you’ll ever meet. That makes sense; because she’s the nicest human you’ll ever meet too! She’s written two vegan cookbooks (we love the Comfort Food one) and she is also a consultant for food companies looking to become more sustainable/plant-based.

Stella McCartney

Stella is the ultimate badass of sustainable fashion. Her brand is committed to creating innovative eco-conscious solutions, showing the world fashion can and MUST be done right. Oh, she’s recently bought back her company’s 50% stake from Kering (Gucci Group), making her the sole owner of her own green empire. What. A. Boss!
